Jerry is a former General Counsel and U.S.-qualified lawyer with over 25 years of experience living and working in the U.S., UK and EMEA, gained in-house and private practice in the pharmaceutical, life sciences and manufacturing sectors.
He has successfully established, managed, developed and restructured EMEA legal and compliance teams for several multinational companies and recruited in-house legal and IP counsel and compliance officers in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and the U.K. He uses this experience to guide corporations in structuring and building strong, effective legal teams.
Jerry is an Executive Director and co-founder of PILLS, an in-house pharmaceutical industry lawyers’ association with over 400 members. He has established and leveraged a strong senior in-house and law firm life sciences and outsourcing network and is an acknowledged mentor. This network enables him to benchmark and advise on best practices for industry peers in the areas of law department management, building external law firm panels, budgeting and strategic planning.
Jerry is a former member of the EFPIA and IFPMA Compliance Committees and the European Board of Directors at the Association of Corporate Counsel/ACCE. He is a frequent keynote speaker and has chaired pharmaceutical industry legal events in Zurich, London and Brussels. He is fluent in French.
