Krishna Patel is a Director in our Associate Practice Group. Based in New York City, she identifies associates for law firms who will help bolster their practices and grow their teams. She also advises associates at all levels on how to reach their career goals and which firms are best fits to help them get there.
Krishna grew up in Maryland and has spent most of her life between New York and the D.C. metro area. She currently lives in Queens with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, cooking and binge watching Netflix.
Krishna has practiced law in a variety of settings including BigLaw, public interest and in-house. She began her career as a litigation associate with Mintz Levin, where she assisted in a range of commercial litigation matters. Krishna then transitioned into a career as a conference producer working with firms and in-house legal departments for both American Lawyer Media (ALM) and American Conference Institute (ACI).
Krishna left the law completely for years to produce events for digital marketing and e-commerce professionals. When the pandemic put a pause on large scale events, Krishna resumed practicing as a freelance attorney. She knows the path from feeling stuck to finding joy at work again and is excited to assist candidates seeking ways to improve the fit between work and their interests, aspirations and day-to-day lives.
While in law school, Krishna was a student attorney for the Harrison Housing and Community Development Institute and worked part time at a local comic book store.
