Alfredo Gomez Placed as U.S. Auto Parts’ Vice President and General Counsel

Hanover, MD (April 3, 2019) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of Alfredo Gomez as vice president and general counsel at U.S. Auto Parts Network, Inc. (U.S. Auto Parts) in Carson, California. The search was led by Joanna Herman, managing director with MLA’s In-House Practice Group in San Diego.

In his new role, Alfredo will have accountability for all corporate and business legal issues including corporate governance matters, SEC reporting, commercial contracts, employment law, executive compensation, intellectual property, real estate, litigation, tax and data privacy. Before joining U.S. Auto Parts, Alfredo served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Guidance Software, directing and executing on legal strategies, including in the areas of securities, contracts, litigation, employment, compliance and governance.
