MLA Places Milla Rahmani as General Counsel at Edifecs, Inc.

Hanover, MD (November 7, 2022) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of Milla Rahmani as general counsel at Edifecs, Inc. The search was conducted by Casey Feldman and Margot Jackson, both managing directors with MLA’s In-House Counsel Recruiting group.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, Milla will play a significant role in the continued strategy, growth and success of the company. She will lead the legal department in its various functions, including corporate governance, intellectual property, sales support, regulatory compliance, employment, M&A and litigation.

Milla is a seasoned general counsel with experience advising boards and executive teams and supporting international technology organizations, as well as foundational litigation training in a national defense law firm. She joins Edifecs after spending the last several years as general counsel with Litera, a leading global on-premise and on-demand software and managed services provider, where as VP, general counsel, she was responsible for all legal-related affairs and legal operations. Milla’s background also includes private equity general counsel roles at B2bB Saas companies, Numerator and Lanyon. She began her legal career as a litigation defense associate with Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP in Dallas. Milla earned her LLM with Queen Mary, University of London, her J.D. with SMU Dedman School of Law, and her B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington.
