Hanover, MD (August 4, 2021) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of Stacy Williams as senior vice president and general counsel at Symmetry Energy Solutions, LLC in Houston. The search was led by Pete Boerner, partner in MLA’s In-House Counsel Recruiting group in Houston.
Reporting to the chief executive officer, Stacy will be responsible for leading and managing the legal and regulatory functions in support of the broader enterprise. As a member of the executive leadership team, he will contribute to the execution of long-term strategic objectives while building and protecting the company through legal, compliance and regulatory affairs.

Stacy joins Symmetry Energy Solutions with 20 years of experience as outside counsel in the energy working with the midstream and upstream sectors. He spent nearly two decades at Locke Lord, LLP, beginning his career as an associate and later making partner. He has also held executive leadership roles with TransCanada Corporation/Columbia Pipeline Group as TransCanada Vice President, U.S. Law, Natural Gas Pipelines and Columbia Pipeline Group Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Land and Litigation prior to that. Stacy began his career clerking for the Hon. Carolyn Dineen King of the U.S. Court of Appeals for The Fifth Circuit.
