Hanover, MD (June 15, 2022) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced today that Joseph Audi has joined the firm as a managing director of client development with the Interim Legal Talent team, based in Washington, D.C. Joe focuses on partnering experienced attorneys with corporations and Am Law 200 firms who need legal talent for short-term and project-based legal assignments, giving these clients alternative solutions to their workforce challenges rather than having to add permanent resources.
“Joe has a deep understanding of the legal industry, honed over two decades-plus in the legal information and technology spheres,” said Michael Albino, practice lead for MLA Interim Legal Talent. “Joe is the consummate professional and brings a consultative approach that will allow MLA Interim Legal Talent to further enrich our in-house legal department and law firm clients’ experience.”
Joe worked in sales for 17 years at LexisNexis, where he was Client Manager of the Year twice and a three-time Circle of Excellence winner. More recently, Joe has worked at Bloomberg Law and Thomson Reuters and, in all his roles, has prided himself on building strong relationships with his clients and guiding them toward the best solutions for their legal teams and practices.
“After more than two decades consulting with lawyers and other legal professionals on technology and electronic research offerings, I’m excited to be making a move to Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group,’’ said Joe. “The move aligns well with my client development skills and a strong focus on the customer. But what attracted me most of all was joining such a committed, talented group of colleagues who truly love what they do.”
Joe earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.S. from Northwestern University.
