The Client

A boutique commercial and business litigation law firm

The Challenge

The law firm was in the middle of bond holder litigation involving more than $2 billion in outstanding bonds. They were in need of additional resources to complete the analysis of documents quickly and efficiently. Documents to be analyzed included board minutes relating to transfer payments, budgets and prices.

The Approach

The partner overseeing this litigation reached out to the ILT after learning of our services from another partner in the firm. We discussed the firm’s goals and ideal candidates to gain a solid understanding of the scope of the work to be performed and the candidate profile we needed to identify in a short period of time.

The Solution

Within four hours of the firm’s initial call, the  was able to deliver a slate of potential candidates. The initial group of five contract attorneys started two days later. Due to the size of the case, the firm requested additional support, and the Interim Legal Talent group placed another six contract attorneys the following week.

The Result

The work progressed from standard analysis into a quality control review over the course of the project. Our contract attorneys were able to complete the project on time, and the firm saved money by using interim resources. The contractors received great reviews from the attorney managing them, and the firm has plans to reach out in the future if additional contract needs arise.
