Simon de Meo is a Director in our Washington D.C. office. As a member of our In-House Counsel Practice, he works on retained searches, placing general counsel, senior legal counsel and compliance professionals for multinational corporations across a diverse spectrum of industries. Simon has placed dozens of lawyers and compliance professionals and enjoys providing a best-in-class service to clients.

Originally from England, Simon first worked in our London office, focusing on the recruitment and retention of corporations’ in-house legal departments across EMEA, before relocating to the U.S. in 2019 with his physician wife. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, cycling, traveling, and being with family and friends. Simon also has a keen interest in the arts.

Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Simon spent six years with the executive search firm Norman Broadbent, where he most recently worked as a search consultant placing senior in-house counsel within prominent UK businesses. Before that, he worked for a number of leading executive search firms and boutiques in predominately industrial research roles placing C-suite and senior director-level candidates into businesses internationally.
