As Executive Director for two divisions, the In-House Practice Group and Solutions Practice Group, Chad Marlow oversees business development, client delivery and recruiter leadership for the West region. He supports the In-House Practice Group — which provides legal search consulting services to corporate and not-for-profit clients — by providing leadership and facilitating ongoing professional development for the team while ensuring outstanding customer service to our clients. Chad has also helped build the West Region Solutions Practice Group, a team that provides legal staffing services and managed legal services for law firms and corporate legal departments, from the ground floor. He consults with law firms and corporate legal departments throughout the West while overseeing and providing leadership to a talented team of business development and recruiting professionals.
While earning his bachelor's degree at San Diego State University, Chad played Division I baseball. He is an avid supporter of youth athletics and an active member of his church, where he serves in different capacities. Chad lives in Southern California with his wife, Julie, and son, Chase. He is an avid golf enthusiast and loves to spend time with his friends and family.
With more than 12 years of recruiting and staffing solutions experience, Chad is recognized as an expert in the field. He co-authored an article for the NALP (National Association for Legal Professionals) Foundation titled, "Hiring and Retention: Resources & Strategies for Improvement," and has been interviewed for insight regarding recent trends in the legal market.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Chad worked for TEKsystems, the nation's leading technology staffing and services company and a member of the Allegis Group, the parent company of Major, Lindsey & Africa. While at TEKsystems, he helped successfully develop and launch a new strategic business unit providing enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to clients throughout Southern California.
Before joining Allegis Group, Chad was the Director of Sales & Operations for Western Marketing Concepts Inc. There he led a sales and operations team throughout the Western United States and served as a catalyst for improved strategies in business development, recruiting, training and field-based technology.
