A Conversation with Affan Arain

In this inaugural episode of In-House Legal: Uncovered, host Michael Sachs chats with Kearney General Counsel Affan Arain about Affan’s career and his role as GC. They focus in on what leadership looks like and means, exploring the responsibilities of a GC, what the hardest part of leading is and where a leader goes for support and guidance.

Affan Arain
joined Kearney in 2006, drawn to the company for both its legacy, dating back to the 1920s, and the opportunity to play a role in a company that was rebuilding its corporate backbone. He was named the firm’s general counsel and a member of its Managing Partner Leadership Team in 2018.

Before joining Kearney, Affan was an associate at Sidley Austin. He earned his JD from the University of Chicago Law School and his BA from Northwestern University.
