Major, Lindsey & Africa Places John A. Frekko as General Counsel at Inhabit IQ

Hanover, MD (February 16, 2023) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of John A. Frekko as general counsel at Inhabit IQ. The search was conducted by Elizabeth Long and Deborah Thompson, both partners with MLA’s In-House Counsel Recruiting group in Philadelphia.

John will oversee all legal matters within the organization and be instrumental in leading the company through its next phase of strategic growth. He will also manage the legal budget and supervise personnel and outside resources.

Before joining Inhabit IQ, John most recently served as associate general counsel, head of commercial transactions and contracts for CoStar Group, Inc., a provider of information, analytics and online marketplaces to the commercial real estate industry. Prior to CoStar, he served as counsel, legal and business affairs for The Advisory Board Company, advising on corporate, business, commercial and technology law matters for a public research technology and consulting company serving the healthcare industry. He began his career as an associate with Apatoff Peters Ebersohl LLC advising on corporate, technology and commercial law matters. John earned his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, his J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law and his B.A. from Colgate University.
