MLA Places Robert McCormack as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Paragon 28, Inc.

Hanover, MD (December 01, 2023) —Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced the placement of Robert McCormack as general counsel and corporate secretary at Paragon 28, Inc., the orthopedic foot and ankle company. The search was conducted by Heather Fine, partner, and Dudley Morton, managing director, both with the In-House Counsel group in Chicago and Denver, respectively.

As general counsel, Robert will act as senior legal advisor to the board of directors, chief executive officer, senior management and business leaders across the organization. He will have additional responsibility for the management and oversight of all global legal and regulatory issues, including the wide range of legal services necessary to ensure compliant day-to-day business operations.

Robert joins Paragon 28 from ViewRay Inc. in Denver, where he served as chief legal officer, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary. As a member of the leadership team, he managed global legal operations, compliance functions and risk management. Prior to this, Robert was deputy general counsel at ViewRay Inc. and Cherwell Software LLC (now Ivanti) and vice president and deputy general counsel with The Spectranetics Corporation. Earlier in-house roles included as senior counsel with GE Healthcare and Covidien (now Medtronic). He began his legal career in private practice with roles at Dill Carr Stonbraker & Hutchings PC, Lewis Roca Rothgerber LLP.

Robert received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.S. in Finance from Metropolitan State University in Denver. He is admitted to the Colorado state bar.
