MLA Promotes Three Interim Legal Talent Recruiters

Hanover, MD (November 19, 2019) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced the promotion of three new managing directors within the firm’s Interim Legal Talent team: Shreya Regmi in Los Angeles; Elizabeth (Betsy) Sinn in Chicago; and Matt Wheatley in New York. MLA’s Interim Legal Talent provides in-house legal departments and law firms with talent resources to address skill gaps, headcount shortage or other bandwidth issues where an extra set of hands (or even a team) can improve the productivity, efficiency and work quality of an organization.

Shreya Regmi joined Major, Lindsey & Africa in September 2017 and has committed herself to developing strong candidate relations while honing her craft. Her early success with MLA Interim is a testament to her dedication to personal development and a welcoming approach to training. Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Shreya was an attorney at a medium-sized law firm in Auckland, New Zealand, where she was part of the Resource Management and Local Government team. She earned an LLB with honors from University of Waikato, School of Law.

Betsy Sinn has been with Major, Lindsey & Africa since 2011, joining originally as an administrator in our Chicago office before making the move to recruiting in January 2017. She has worked tirelessly to become one of MLA Interim’s top performing candidate development recruiters. Betsy’s commitment to her candidates and caring approach to developing relationships makes her a trusted advisor to candidates throughout our Midwest market. She graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism from Miami University of Ohio.

Matt Wheatley has been an integral part of the New York Interim team since joining in August 2017. With this promotion, Matt will be transitioning to a client-facing role and taking on business development responsibilities. Before Major, Lindsey & Africa, Matt was with an associate with Phillips Parker Orberson & Arnett in Louisville, KY. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his B.A. from the University of Kentucky.
