MLA Places David Delafield as Chief Financial Officer at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP

Hanover, MD (February 19, 2018) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announces the placement of David Delafield as chief financial officer (CFO) at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in Seattle, WA. The search was led by Amanda K. Brady, managing partner and global practice leader, and Amy Mallow, managing director, of Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Law Firm Management Practice Group.

In his new role, David directs the firm’s finance, accounting and pricing functions, as well as being involved in strategic planning. He oversees a team of approximately 55 financial professionals. The firm has more than 550 attorneys in nine offices across the United States and in Shanghai, China.

David has spent most of his career in health care. Prior to joining Davis Wright, he was CFO at Providence Health Services where he was accountable for one of the country’s largest, integrated medical groups with more than $1.5 billion in revenue and 7,500 providers across the West Coast. Before this, David was CFO at Swedish Health Services. He began his career at Deloitte Consulting.
