Christie Babinski is a Managing Director on the In-House Counsel Recruiting team in our Washington, D.C., office. Her focus is on placing attorneys at all levels across the country within corporate legal departments across all industries.
Outside of the office, Christie enjoys anything that requires staying active—weight lifting, yoga and doing “touristy” things around D.C. She is passionate about nutrition and firmly believes that “food is medicine.” She loves to create healthy alternatives to her favorite foods. Above all else, though, Christie enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Christie spent the first four years of her legal career at a law firm with a national practice. There, she specialized in employee benefits litigation and worked primarily with in-house lawyers and senior executives.
Christie grew up in South Florida and obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology, graduating first in her class, from the University of Florida. Shortly after that, she exchanged her sandals for scarves and ventured to Washington, D.C., where she has lived ever since. Christie obtained her law degree from George Washington University Law School, where she graduated with Honors.
