As Chief Financial Officer, Dan Davila supports Major, Lindsey & Africa and Allegis Partners' growth, both in service offerings and geographical locations, while maintaining integrity to the desired financial results.
Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two very active children, coaching youth baseball, participating in volunteer board work, completing home improvement projects, and restoring and preserving classic cars.
Dan joined the Allegis Group in 1999 as an associate at Aerotek, where he provided operational and financial support for sales offices in the Northeast Region. From that time, he has held numerous roles within the organization, working his way up through the ranks to regional controller for Aerotek’s Central Region beginning in January 2007. In that role, Dan provided financial management for more than 100 sales teams that were producing more than $250M in annual revenue. He was often called on by sales teams to attend client meetings and presentations, establishing himself as a trusted business partner to Fortune 500 and small business clients alike. He handled issue resolution, escalated contract and pricing negotiations, regulatory compliance and analysis of office income statements.
Dan’s last role at Aerotek before moving to Major, Lindsey & Africa was as controller for Aerotek’s Government Services team, a role that he assumed in January 2012. As controller, he partnered with the vice president of Government Services to build a world-class team and service offering to provide human capital solutions to contractors performing under federal, state and local government contracts. He also helped create and improve processes involving opportunity qualification, pricing, compliance, billing and collections, and reporting.
In 2017, Dan joined Major, Lindsey & Africa as regional controller. Dan served as finance business partner for our law firm-centric business lines as well as all practice groups in the APAC region. He also closely supported MLA Advisory Services, both in a behind-the-scenes and client-facing capacity. Then in 2018, Dan was promoted to director of finance, where he oversaw the Finance team and continued to provide financial management and strategic support to MLA Advisory Services and the law firm recruitment practice groups. He partnered with the practice group leaders to develop growth strategies, report on business results and explore investment opportunities. He also worked closely with clients advising them on cost modeling and pricing strategy. Dan was named CFO in fall 2022.
