Danielle Thomas is an Internal Recruiter for us, identifying talented legal recruiters and former lawyers looking to transition careers to join our team. She also works closely with our corporate team to fill vacancies on our finance, marketing and human resources teams. She is enthusiastic about establishing relationships with candidates and helping the achieve new levels on their professional journey.

Danielle enjoys learning and considers herself a lifelong learner. She is an avid DIYer and gardener who enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places. She resides in the greater Cleveland area with her husband and children.

Danielle started recruiting while serving as director of financial aid at a community college when her department roles were taking exceptionally long to fill in 2008. This isolated experience sparked her interest and led her on a Human Resources path in 2012. Since leaving higher education in an administrator capacity, Danielle has served as an HR generalist and recruiter in the nonprofit sectors of public education, health care and local government in the greater Cleveland, OH, and Charlotte, NC, areas. Unfortunately, in 2020, Danielle was laid-off and that propelled her into the for-profit sector of recruiting, which brought her to Major, Lindsey & Africa. Danielle relishes in writing job descriptions and interview questions, conducting behavioral-based interviews and sourcing candidates.
