Gregory Richter is a Partner and Vice President, Retained Search and Advisory Services, leading our In-House Counsel Practice and Law Firm Management as well as MLA Transform, our advisory services group that includes our consulting offerings of Managed Legal Services and Talent Management Consulting. He also oversees Allegis Partners, a global executive search firm within the family of Allegis Group companies.
In this role, Greg is responsible for creating the vision and strategy, as well as developing the infrastructure and brand. He is committed to creating a dynamic environment for talent to realize its full potential.
Greg is a passionate advocate for increasing diversity within the legal profession. As such, he is a member of our In-House Diversity & Inclusion Committee, a group of talented recruiters dedicated to attracting, developing and retaining diverse talent for our clients and our own organization.
Greg lives in northern New Jersey with his wife, Nicole, and their twin daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, cycling, traveling and spending time with his family at the Jersey Shore.
Greg joined Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2009 to establish a staffing division within the firm. He led that team until the end of 2017, growing the division into today’s Interim Legal Talent group, which provides specialized contract legal staffing services to clients needing staff augmentation, flexible and contingent workforce options, temporary-to-permanent hiring and human capital management.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Greg served in various leadership roles for Aerotek another Allegis Group company, including strategic planning, hiring, training & development and P&L management. During this time, Greg developed a track record for building high performing teams cemented by his deep understanding of organizational culture.
