A Director in our Partner Practice Group, Hope Jamison counsels law firm partners and groups, helping them navigate the lateral market through the Southeast and make the best decisions for the success of their careers and the firms.

In her spare time, Hope enjoys traveling, antiquing and spending time with family and friends.

Before becoming a legal recruiter, Hope spent seven years as an Associate Director and then Assistant Dean of Students at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School where she focused on counseling students on professionalism and career management. While there, she served on the Admissions Committee and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She also was an advisor for the Committee on Professionalism for the Chief Justice’s Commission on Professionalism and alumni interviewer for Cornell University.

Hope received her J.D. from Rutgers University. As a law student, she worked with the Domestic Violence Pro Bono Program and interned in the Philadelphia U.S. Attorney's office. Following her graduation, Hope completed an appellate clerkship for New Jersey Superior Court Judge Paulette Sapp-Peterson. Hope then practiced at boutique firms in Rutherford, New Jersey, and Princeton, New Jersey, before returning to Cornell University to serve as a senior administrator at Cornell University Law School. She served as the Associate Director for Admissions at Cornell Law School for three years before returning South to make Atlanta her professional home.
