Jennifer Moss, a Managing Director in our Boston Partner Practice Group, specializes in the recruitment and placement of individual partners and groups at leading regional, national and international law firms. She also works with these firms on major transactions such as mergers and office openings. She applies a detailed understanding of law firms to her recruiting practice, which she acquired through her experience as a practicing attorney at major law firms in Boston and New York.
Having been a competitive figure skater for more than 15 years, Jennifer lives an active lifestyle, enjoying running, skiing, golfing and keeping up with her two busy children, Jackson and Alexis. She has led numerous fundraising efforts for educational and community organizations.
Jennifer previously worked in the Business & Technology Group at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP and in the Business Practice Group at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, where she represented multinational and international private and public companies in connection with cross-border mergers, acquisitions and tender offers. She also represented private equity and venture capital investors in private placements of equity securities and represented public and private companies in the technology, software and biotechnology spaces in ongoing general business matters.
Jennifer started her legal career with Coudert Brothers LLP in their New York and Paris offices. As an associate in the Securities and M&A departments at Coudert, she specialized in representing onshore and offshore hedge funds and funds of funds in all areas from launch to tax-efficient derivatives structures to ongoing compliance issues. She also worked on multibillion dollar cross-border M&A transactions and IPOs. In addition, Jennifer served as an elected member of the firm's Associates Liaison Committee.
