As Executive Director of our Interim Legal Talent — North America, Matthew Weaver oversees business line strategy, business development initiatives, hiring and retention efforts, client relations, and client developer leadership and mentorship. MLA Interim Legal Talent connects corporate legal departments and law firms with professionally established attorneys for project-based engagements. These engagements solve issues related to our client’s staff lacking practice area expertise and bandwidth, in addition to cost controlling measures and leave coverages. The expertise exhibited by MLA Interim Legal Talent attorney consultants is wide ranging from interim general counsel support to the many practices areas an in-house legal department covers and corporate law firms specialize in.
Matthew, and his wife, Victoria, along with their son, Hank, and daughter, Kate, reside in Montclair, NJ. He enjoys traveling all over the globe to experience the many adventures, sports, cuisines and natural habitats the world has to offer.
Prior to partnering in the start of Interim Legal Talent in 2010, Matthew spent six years working for Aerotek as a divisional leader and account executive in the architectural, engineering and construction industry in New York City. Over the course of his nearly 20-year career, he has successfully led numerous teams of business development and recruiting professionals. This experience with two industry leaders—Major, Lindsey & Africa and Aerotek—provides Matthew with a unique background in solving business issues as they relate to human capital management, workload efficiencies and cost containment.
