MLA Places Lindsay Anderson as General Counsel at Natelli Communities

Hanover, MD (December 3, 2025) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced the placement of Lindsay Anderson as general counsel at Natelli Communities in Gaithersburg, MD. Lindsay will be succeeding Krista McGowan Davisson, the company’s long-time general counsel, who will be retiring. The search was led by Randi Lewis, managing director with MLA’s Partner Practice Group based in Baltimore and Washington, D.C., and Christie Babinski, managing director with MLA’s In-House Counsel Recruiting team in Washington, D.C.

Lindsay Anderson brings more than 15 years of experience and deep expertise in real estate development, finance, and compliance to Natelli Communities. Her career reflects a steady and intentional progression to increasingly strategic in-house roles. Before joining Natelli Communities, Lindsay served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Ancora Partners, a real estate investment, development, and operating company. She began her career in private practice and transitioned to her first in-house role with Combined Properties, where she led the legal lease team and assisted on acquisitions and financings of retail and multi-family deals. She later moved to Comstock Holding Companies where she oversaw and supported the legal aspects of acquisitions, financings, and development projects associated with mixed use, multi-family, and office properties, working closely with cross-functional teams and managing legal operations.

Lindsay  earned her Juris Doctor from George Mason University Law School and her B.A. from George Mason University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
