“Campbell’s first-hand experience of building and leading legal practices, combined with his extensive regional relationships, will be a tremendous asset to our clients and candidates,” said David Maurer, global executive director, partner recruiting.  “His understanding of the strategic, commercial and cultural considerations involved in partner hiring further strengthens MLA’s ability to support law firms as they pursue growth across Australia, the wider Asia-Pacific region, and the globe.”

Before joining MLA, Campbell was a Partner in the Corporate and M&A practice at Piper Alderman in Sydney. Previously, he spent more than 12 years at Squire Patton Boggs, where he established and grew the Sydney office and served as Australian Managing Partner and as a Corporate and M&A Partner. He was also actively involved in recruiting and developing legal talent during his law firm career, including making numerous partner-level appointments.

“Having held leadership roles within leading law firms, I understand the significant impact that the right partner appointment can have on a firm’s strategy, culture and long-term growth,” said Campbell Davidson. “I am delighted to join MLA and look forward to drawing on that experience to help law firms and partners navigate important growth and career decisions across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.”
