MLA Welcomes Kassem Lucas as a Managing Director in Its Philadelphia Partner Practice Group

Hanover, MD (SEPTEMBER 10, 2024) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, announced today that Kassem Lucas has joined the firm as a managing director in its Partner Practice Group, based in Philadelphia. Kassem uses his extensive experience as a law firm partner, teacher and mentor, and DEI champion to advise potential candidates and clients on the lateral partner market and the opportunities that exist.

Kassem is a former litigation partner with extensive experience in reinsurance and insurance insolvency law and has also advised clients on labor and employment and higher education matters throughout his career. He has been a leader and innovator in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within his firm, for clients, and the legal profession at large. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Caret School of Law, where he teaches a class on DEI issues and challenges in the legal industry. Kassem earned his J.D. from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law and his B.A. in psychology from Yale University.
