Founded in her direct experience guiding elite partners and associates through the myriad options available to help them build their businesses and maximize their professional legacies, Kirsten coaches, manages and guides our partner and associate recruiters to deliver the highest quality representation to our clients and candidates.

As Executive Director of Law Firm Recruiting for the West Region, a Partner of the firm and member of our senior management team, Kirsten Keegan Vasquez provides leadership, coaching and strategic support to partners, managing directors, directors and practice specialists in the Partner and Associate Practice Groups. She is responsible for recruiting, hiring and developing top-of-the-market search professionals and implementing best recruiting practices across her team. Dedicated to client service, Kirsten develops and strengthens relationships with local, regional, national and global law firms through direct client engagement.

Prior to joining our management team, Kirsten represented partners and associates throughout the Midwest and beyond in the lateral market through law firm office openings, group acquisitions and individual lateral moves. She has also collaborated with our in-house placement specialists to introduce her candidates to global in-house opportunities.

Originally from New England, Kirsten and her husband, Francisco, an in-house general counsel, currently live, eat barbeque, see live music, golf and spoil their dog in University City, Missouri.


Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Kirsten practiced law as a litigator and frequently served as court-appointed guardian ad litem for children. Kirsten co-authored, "The System Book for Family Law," published by the State Bar of Wisconsin and authored several published articles exploring various stages of career development for attorneys. Prior to her law career, Kirsten worked in higher and secondary education administration/management.

While earning her master's degree at the University of Rhode Island, Kirsten performed extensive research in the areas of leadership and management development, including the creation and instruction of several undergraduate leadership development courses.
