With sixteen years of legal search experience under my belt, I have a great track record of providing smart, thorough, and responsive service to my clients, both in identifying the top candidates and assessing the best cultural fit for long-term success. I've helped some of Silicon Valley’s top companies scale their legal departments, and it has been gratifying to provide career advice to some of the best attorneys in the country at the same time.

Nicole Lipman is a Partner in our In-House Practice Group, based in the San Francisco office. She conducts searches for general counsel and other senior in-house attorneys for Fortune 1000 companies as well as fast-growing technology companies looking to add their first general counsel and/or scale their legal departments. She has deep industry expertise in technology, financial sponsors/venture capital, financial services and retail/consumer products.

Nicole lives in San Francisco with her husband, Michael, and their two sons, Asher and Leo.

Experience

Nicole worked as an associate consultant at Bain & Company in San Francisco before earning her law degree at the Harvard Law School. She then worked as a corporate associate at Skadden, Arps in New York and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in San Francisco before joining Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2000.
