Hanover, MD (March 12, 2020) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced the placement of Benjamin Creusat as head of legal, pharma operations for Vifor Pharma Group, the global pharmaceutical company dedicated to innovative, patient-focused solutions. The search was led by Tanja Albers and Arthi Cobb of MLA’s In-House Counsel group in Amsterdam and London, respectively.
Based in the firm’s Swiss offices, Benjamin will provide advice on a range of commercial contracting matters for all teams across the pharma business. He will be a key member of the legal department leadership team and will lead, manage and develop a high-performance legal team.

Benjamin is a seasoned legal counsel with over 15 years of experience across private practice and in-house roles, and a strong track record in the pharmaceutical industry. Benjamin joins Vifor Pharma from Nestle Skin Health, where he served as head of legal for the firm’s research and development functions across consumer, aesthetic and pharma. Prior to this, he was with Novartis Pharma, as senior legal counsel in their R&D, digital, medical and litigation legal department. Earlier in-house experience was gained at Transgene and Mylan Pharmaceuticals. He began his career as an IP litigator at firms including Baker & McKenzie and Bird & Bird in France.
