MLA places Nischal Hindia as General Counsel and Company Secretary for Camellia Plc

London, UK (August 01, 2024) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced the placement of Nischal Hindia as general counsel and company secretary for Camellia Plc, the London Stock Exchange AIM listed international group focused on sustainable agriculture.  The search was led by Angus Dodwell, managing director with MLA’s In-House Counsel Group based in London, with execution support from Arthi Cobb .

As general counsel and company secretary, Nischal will hold a key leadership position and will also serve as a member of Camellia’s executive committee. Prior to joining Camellia, Nischal acted as interim general counsel and company secretary for then AIM listed company, Redx Pharma Plc. Prior to that he held various roles, most recently with GSK both in London and India, where he was executive vice president and general counsel for their South Asian listed subsidiary, and a member of that executive team. 

Nischal began his legal career in India, followed by roles with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Allen & Overy in London.
