MLA Places Helena Samaha as President of Lex Mundi

Hanover, MD (March 20, 2019) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced that Helena Samaha has been placed as Lex Mundi’s next President, effective June 2, 2019. She will succeed Carl Anduri who has led the organization for the last 19 years. This global search was led by Amanda K. Brady, managing partner and global practice leader of MLA’s Law Firm Management Practice;  Naveen Tuli, managing partner, In-House Practice Group, EMEA & APAC; Deb Ben-Canaan, partner, In-House Practice Group; Keith Wetmore managing director, Partner Practice Group; and Rod Osborne, managing director, Law Firm Management.

In her new, role, Helena will work closely with Lex Mundi’s board of directors, chair and staff on strategic initiatives that further enhance the value of Lex Mundi’s global service platform for its member firms and their clients around the world.

Helena has held General Counsel and senior legal positions at Virgin Management, AlixPartners, OSN and Liberty Global.
