MLA Has Been Exclusively Retained by The Johns Hopkins Health System to Find Its Next General Counsel

Hanover, MD (April 21, 2021) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, today announced that it has been retained by The Johns Hopkins Health System (JHHS) to recruit its next senior vice president and general counsel for The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation and The Johns Hopkins Hospital to be located in Baltimore. Edina Beasley, managing director in Washington, D.C., and Elizabeth Long in Philadelphia, both with MLA’s In-House Counsel Recruiting team are leading the search.

Reporting to the president of The Johns Hopkins Health System and executive vice president of Johns Hopkins Medicine, this position oversees all internal and external legal matters for JHHS and its affiliates and serves as the primary legal advisor to the president, the organization’s senior management team, the board and the hospitals.
