Kristy Robinson is a Partner in the Partner Practice Group. Based in Washington, D.C., she specializes in representing and placing partners and groups into top global, national, regional and local law firms, as well as representing clients in connection with office openings and law firm mergers. Kristy works closely with law firms, taking the time to learn the unique attributes of the firm and gain a strong understanding of their culture and hiring needs. She is consistently recognized for her ability to develop long-lasting relationships and to make strategic matches that benefit both her clients and candidates.

Kristy resides in D.C. proper with her husband, Mike.

Kristy joined Major, Lindsey & Africa, in 2012, to help build and develop the Interim Legal Talent group, a practice that would focus on providing innovative hiring solutions to both corporate legal teams and law firms. Over the course of her tenure here, Kristy built a reputable business often recognized in the market and within the company for its high performance. She then transitioned to the Partner Practice Group where she leverages her legal background and recruiting experience to effectively counsel and represent both candidates and law firm clients.

Kristy also shares her knowledge and experience externally, publishing several articles and participating in various speaking engagements over the years.

Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Kristy worked as a senior litigation attorney in Florida, handling premises liability, insurance defense and malpractice cases. She successfully resolved hundreds of cases through dismissals, mediation and/or trial.
