Kate Reder Sheikh Joins MLA as a Managing Director to Recruit Associates in Northern California

Hanover, MD (August 15, 2017) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, today announced that Kate Reder Sheikh has joined the firm's Associate Practice Group, and is based in the San Francisco office. Kate will concentrate on servicing law firms and associate candidates in San Francisco and Silicon Valley.

Prior to joining MLA, Kate spent two years leading the London office of boutique recruiting firm Piper Pritchard Associates (formerly known as Helix Associates), placing law firm candidates at all levels in the United Kingdom, the U.S. and the Middle East. Before moving into recruitment, Kate practiced law with several boutique firms in San Francisco.

"As a former litigator for nine years, I am keenly aware of both the factors that make associates want to move and also how hard it can be to find the time to effectuate that pivot," said Kate.
