Amy Vanderhoof is the Internal Recruiting and Training Manager based in Washington, D.C. She oversees the internal recruiting process for all practice groups and openings on the East Coast, as well as the hiring and training nationally for our Interim Legal Talent team.
Originally from Indianapolis, Amy resides in Washington, D.C., where she enjoys attending local sporting events and visiting the national museums and landmarks.
Amy joined Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2015 as a Director in the Interim Legal Talent group. She specialized in conducting the full life-cycle recruiting process on behalf of law firms and corporations looking to hire attorneys and other legal professionals into both permanent and interim positions.
In 2018, Amy left Major, Lindsey & Africa to join RPStaffing as a recruiting manager. During her time at RPStaffing, she ran the temporary staffing division, training and managing the team as well as hiring new employees for the entire company, including recruiters, business developers and office coordinators. She returned to Major, Lindsey & Africa to marry her experience as an external recruiter and an internal recruiter, bringing a deeper knowledge of hiring strategy and best practices in order to grow the company more successfully.
White attending law school at George Washington, Amy took part in the Immigration Clinic and taught first-year law students legal research and writing through the Dean’s Fellow program. She then worked as a law clerk, assisting individuals and families with immigration matters and documentation.
