What attracted you to Major, Lindsey & Africa?

I knew they were the best in the world at what they do and I wanted to be a part of that. Once I started interviewing for my role, I was even more impressed by the people themselves. You couldn’t ask for a friendlier, intelligent and more experienced group of legal recruiters and support staff to work with.

What is the best part of your job?

Seeing how happy and grateful candidates are for supporting them in identifying and obtaining their new role—and the celebrations that come with all that.

What is the most surprising part of being a recruiter?

It has got to be one of the most fun professions out there.

How would you describe your career in 5 words or less?

Global, rewarding, journey, champagne & razorblades

Describe one of your successes thus far at Major, Lindsey & Africa.

Establishing a framework to truly work on a global scale. I have had a hand in positively changing the lives of many lawyers, both domestic and foreign qualified, helping them obtain opportunities with elite firms all around the world.

What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a recruiter?

Surround yourself with successful recruiters and establish the right habits early on. Don’t be lazy expecting success to come to you. You need to hustle.

If you weren’t a recruiter, what career would you have had?

I would have moved into an economic development role with a global institution with a focus on supporting Central and South American countries to improve their social and economic well-being.
