Hanover, MD (September 12, 2024) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced the placement of Theodore Sangalis as vice president, corporate counsel and secretary with MDC Holdings, one of the leading homebuilders in the United States. The search was conducted by Dudley Morton, managing director, and Joyce Wong, director, with MLA's In-House Counsel Recruiting team in Denver and Palo Alto.
As vice president, corporate counsel and secretary, Ted will support all functions of the business in the areas of corporate governance, contracts, compliance, HR/employment matters and litigation for MDC.

Ted joins from JBS USA where he served as corporate counsel. Prior to this he was with Valaris and Morgan Stanley. He began his legal career with Greenberg Traurig, LLP.
Ted earned his JD from Fordham University School of Law and his BFA from New York University.
