MLA Places Vincent Amiot as Head of Legal & Compliance, Asia Pacific South for SIG Group

London, UK (June 13, 2023) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced the placement of Vincent Amiot as head of legal and compliance for Asia Pacific South at SIG Group, a leading packaging solutions provider. The search was led by Naveen Tuli, Olivia Seet and Pooja Mahbubani, with MLA’s In-House Counsel group in Delhi, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Vincent will have responsibility for all legal and compliance matters arising in the Asia Pacific South region, manage a team of lawyers and be a key member of the regional management team.

Commenting on the appointment, the team at MLA said: “Vincent is an experienced legal leader with significant experience in Europe, the US and APAC including a year in India. His experience in establishing legal and compliance functions in different jurisdictions is just an example of why he will be an asset to SIG. Vincent joins SIG Group from H3 Dynamics, an IT and robotics start-up, where he built the legal department to oversee the company’s functions in Singapore, the US and Europe. Prior to this, Vincent spent 10 years with Airbus in various legal roles, starting in France and progressing to India and finally Singapore. Most recently, he served as APAC Legal Director, where he was responsible for establishing the regional legal and compliance department.

Vincent earned a master’s degree in business law from the Law School of Toulouse, followed by an LL.M from The College of Law in Sydney. He is admitted to the bar in France and is a member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.
