MLA Africa Places Zach Chapman as Executive Vice President, General Counsel at Rise Baking Company

Hanover, MD (December 22, 2025) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced the placement of Zach Chapman as Executive Vice President, General Counsel at Rise Baking Company in Minneapolis, MN. In his new role, Zach will serve as the company’s legal advisor, responsible for managing legal risks, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal guidance on matters such as contracts, litigation, and corporate governance.

Most recently, Zach served as SVP, General Counsel and CHRO for Sun-Maid Growers and previously held senior legal roles at SpartanNash, TreeHouse Foods, Harry & David, and Wells Blue Bunny.

Zach earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan and his B.A. from Emory University.
