The people. Beginning with the interview process and continuing through present day, I’m amazed by the quality of the people here at MLA – both in terms of character and expertise.
What is the best part of your job?
Next to family, our careers tend to be the second most important aspect of our lives. Helping smart people make smart career decisions that positively impact their life is incredibly gratifying.
What is the most surprising part of being a recruiter?
A majority of the partner candidates I’m working with who stand to benefit the most from a lateral move weren’t even considering it when we had our first conversation.

What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a recruiter?
Never go for the quick buck. Always play the long game.
