I love the variety and pace – it keeps me on my toes and presents a new challenge all the time.
What is the most surprising part of being a recruiter?
It’s really a long game and what you put in is really what you get out of it. Somebody described it as champagne and razor blades, and it really is.

What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a recruiter?
It’s not what you think, and it’s an awesome job with so much opportunity to be had. But you do need to build the thick skin, persistence and start fresh every day. It gives you so much though and that’s what makes it great!
If you weren’t a lawyer or a recruiter, what career would you have had?
Maybe a dentist, but I wasn’t great at sciences, so I’d probably be terrible!
What is on your bucket list?
More travel – I want to do a whole Japan tour, India, Iceland, New Zealand and so many other places!
