What is the best part of your job?

The people I get to build relationships with internally and externally.

What is the most surprising part of being a recruiter?

The impact that you have on someone’s life – you don’t realise how much a job change changes their lives.

How would you describe your career in 5 words or less?

Hard work but rewarding

Describe one of your successes thus far at Major, Lindsey & Africa.

The fact that I have been able to help people with their careers in multiple countries. I have learnt their culture and what is important to each person depending on their background and country and utilize that information to help them find their next role.

What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a recruiter?

This career is about perseverance and relationship building.  If you are willing to be here long term, it can be very rewarding and you can make a difference.

A Bollywood dance teacher
