Allison Rosner is a Director in our In-House Counsel Recruiting team. She works with legal departments throughout the New York Metro area to identify talented lawyers who will enhance and grow their teams. Allison’s private equity experience and expertise across the finance, asset management, legal and technology industries give her a strong understanding of the key competencies and intricacies necessary for in-house legal teams to be successful in these industries. She employs a client-first approach to executing searches, partnering with clients to understand their distinctive needs and building relationships of trust and loyalty effortlessly.

While Allison calls New York City home, she is a native Clevelander and loyal Cleveland sports fan (for better or for worse). She is passionate about all things New York City, living an active lifestyle, participating in philanthropic initiatives, curling up with a good book, reading the New York Times daily and is a Wordle enthusiast.

Allison came to Major, Lindsey & Africa with extensive experience in leadership, finance and private equity, business development and operational optimization. Most recently, she was the chief of staff to the general counsel and senior director of legal operations at Modernizing Medicine, where she supported the general counsel and in-house legal team in all matters from hiring and talent development, to evaluating compensation structure and department expenses, to defining, setting and driving the achievement of legal department OKRs and KPIs. She also helped manage the company’s legal operations and infrastructure, enabling the legal organization to meet its business priorities.

Before that, Allison spent over 15 years in the private equity industry focused on investor relations and capital raising activities, 13 years of which were with Warburg Pincus. As deputy director of investor relations and fundraising, she focused on capital raising and relationship management with Limited Partners and the firm’s “Friends and Family,” spearheaded project management efforts, led strategic and analytical initiatives, and regularly liaised with the general counsel and in-house legal team as well as outside counsel as it related to capital raising and fund formation matters. Prior to Warburg Pincus, she was a certified public accountant at Ernst & Young.
