Kim initially began her recruiting career with Major, Lindsey & Africa at the turn of the century as a practice specialist, where she reached out to law firm attorneys with potential opportunities and to explore their career goals. She then joined a startup firm as a legal recruiter. In that role, she partnered with hiring managers and recruiters to navigate the hiring process.
Kim then moved in-house into a human resources role with a nonprofit academic medical center, where she spearheaded HR policy development and executed human resource programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. Combining her experience, she then moved to healthcare recruiting with a startup healthcare firm, implementing innovative, competitive strategies for recruiting and selecting diverse, high-quality talent across RN, LPN, and home health aide positions.
She returned to her legal roots joining Brooklyn Law School as a legal market analyst in the Career Development Center. There Kim worked with prospective employers to understand the company culture and their needs better and assist graduating students in finding roles appropriate for their career goals. Kim returned to Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2021.
