Michael Albino is a Practice Lead with our Interim Legal Talent team. Based in Atlanta, he serves as a coach, mentor and leader to other consultants throughout the Southeast and Washington, D.C., metro area. He oversees their development and ensures our consultants are consistently growing in their roles and supporting their clients to the best of their abilities. Michael also focuses on partnering experienced attorneys with Fortune 500 corporations and AmLaw 200 firms who need legal talent for interim legal assignments.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys running, playing catch with his sons and trying new restaurants. He also likes reading and listening to books, particularly in the biography, self-help and sales genres.

Michael joined Major, Lindsey & Africa with a diverse background of experience from his legal practice and his roles in business development and legal technology. He previously worked at Dentons as a business development specialist and as an associate at two Atlanta-based law firms.

  • Portuguese-speaking M&A counsel on an interim basis to liaise with hospitality client’s in-house team and Brazilian-based outside counsel during diligence phase of acquisition of Brazilian company.     
  • E-discovery attorney on a long-term project basis to oversee evidentiary collection and liaise with back-end e-discovery team for a law-firm client representing several local government entities in complex, multi-billion dollar, multi-district litigation.
  • Consumer financial services regulatory counsel on a temp-to-perm basis to monitor the 50-state regulatory environment for a global auto manufacturer.
  • In-house commercial counsel on a temp-to-perm basis to support the General Counsel for a publicly-traded provider of consultative services to industrial and energy markets.
  • M&A associate on a temp-to-perm basis to support corporate practice of a boutique firm with an M&A focus.
