A Director on our In-House Counsel Recruiting team, Stephanie Crosse works with corporations, nonprofits, institutions of higher education and government agencies to help them find talented legal professionals to enhance and strengthen their legal departments.
Stephanie lives in suburban D.C. with her husband and their young son. Outside of work, you can find Stephanie volunteering at her son’s school or advocating on behalf of veterans and military families. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys watching game shows, visiting wineries, treasure hunting in flea markets and spending time with family and friends.
Stephanie joined Major, Lindsey & Africa after an extensive legal career in private practice, higher education and government. She began her career as a litigation associate in her hometown, Columbus, Georgia. Thereafter, she joined the in-house legal team of a local Fortune 200 insurance company.
After over six years of in-house practice, Stephanie married an Active Duty Army Judge Advocate. While relocating in support of her husband’s service, Stephanie had unique opportunities to pursue career options outside of her comfort zone. She served as an adjunct professor and career services professional at a major D.C. law school. She also served as military disability counsel with the U.S. Army Medical Command. Most recently, Stephanie served as a medical malpractice attorney with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of General Counsel.
