Experienced Recruiter Larisa Villa Joins MLA to Identify Interim and Contract Legal Talent in Northern California

Hanover, MD (July 22, 2021) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced today that Larisa Villa has joined the firm as a managing director – candidate development with the Interim Legal Talent team, based in San Francisco. Larisa focuses on identifying talented interim attorneys as well as experienced legal professionals for project based or temp-to-perm roles in corporations and law firms throughout Northern California.

Most recently, Larisa served as director of recruiting with The Agency Legal Staffing. Leading a team of 10, she recruited and interviewed legal support staff and attorney candidates for direct-hire, temporary and temporary-to-hire legal positions and worked with law firms and companies to assess staffing and market applicable candidates. Larisa handled the logistics, coordinating between law firms and candidates to arrange interviews, negotiate offers and set start dates. Prior to joining The Agency Legal Staffing, Larisa spent several years with Adams & Martin Group, where she was responsible for recruiting legal staff, paralegals and substantive contract attorney placements. She has also recruited for Fluid, a 120-person digital design agency/software company, and the Art Institute of California-San Francisco.
