Our client required assistance in becoming compliant with the new LIBOR transition rules in a timely manner. Unfortunately, all banks were in need of similar resources, so they were struggling to locate attorneys who could come on-site just for this project. Though they worked with their outside counsel, the fees were piling up and the lack of in-person support was becoming a challenge.
The Solution
Having known MLA Interim Legal Talent through years of continual contact, the client decided to enlist the help of MLA Interim and our talented attorney consultants. Understanding the profile of the attorneys and counsel required, MLA Interim began screening candidates and the clients began interviewing within a week. Originally thinking they wanted to hire two attorneys and a paralegal to handle the LIBOR Transition project, the client decided to bring in three attorneys because the talent they interviewed simply impressed them.
The Results
Our client has been very happy with the work of our three consulting attorneys, and the project has progressed beautifully.
They have already begun working with our MLA Interim team to fill 18 other roles within their organization.
