Evangelos is a member of the EMEA and Asia-Pacific In-House Counsel Practice. Based in London and Singapore, Evangelos conducts in-house searches at all levels with a focus on senior general counsel. He also provides expert advisory services to in-house legal teams together with related consulting to law firms. His key areas of advisory expertise include off-shoring and legal process outsourcing, legal process re-engineering and optimization, resourcing strategy and spend management, operations and infrastructure, use of technology, communications, succession planning, and legal professional development frameworks.

Evangelos has lived and worked internationally in India, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Middle East in addition to the UK where he is qualified as a barrister and a solicitor. Evangelos was previously an equity partner and general counsel of Ernst & Young in Asia Pacific and VP, Chief Counsel APAC for British Telecom. He has also served as a principal of an Ernst & Young law practice member firm in SE Asia and as the EMEA president for one of the world’s leading contract management software houses.

Whilst in practice, he advised on high value cross-border transactions as well as a range of large-scale infrastructure and outsourcing/BPO deals. Evangelos established and led amongst the first legal off-shore shared services centre in India for British Telecom. The captive, which improved business performance and reduced cost through the optimization and re-engineering of legal, commercial and regulatory processes, was later sold to a leading legal process outsourcer.

Evangelos is a regular conference speaker and facilitator. In recent years, he has given keynote talks at events in Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Dubai, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Beijing and Shanghai. He is also invited to address internally organized in-house legal and private practice conferences. He has served as a judge for the In-House Community, Counsels of the Year Awards (Asia Pacific and Middle East) for 2017 and 2018. He is an accredited mediator and former adjunct professor of law at both the National University of Singapore and Hong Kong University.
