Nadene is a Senior Internal Recruiter for Major, Lindsey & Africa and Allegis Partners. She identifies the highest quality candidates to fill our open recruiting and administrative roles across the United States. Her passion for helping people allows her to serve selflessly.
Born in Jamaica, Nadene was raised in New Jersey and New York. She is the youngest of seven children and the first in her family to graduate from college and gain a post graduate degree.
Nadene enjoys taking time for self-care, traveling and cooking fusion foods with Afro-Caribbean flavors. Her favorite dish to make is her Curry Chicken Pot Pie. Her other passions include real estate investing and community mediation and conflict coaching.
Nadene came to Major, Lindsey & Africa with extensive recruiting experience and experience in the legal space. She began her legal career as a summer associate with Putney, Twombley, Hall & Hirson. From there, she served as a law clerk for the National Labor Relations Board and then as a judicial law clerk the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, investigating, analyzing complaints and drafting summary judgments.
Nadene briefly moved into mediation as Commissioner of Mediation at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service where she mediated disputes arising out of the collective bargaining process and employment policies, designed and led collective bargaining courses, and facilitated labor/management committees.
Nadene then moved into recruiting as a director at Mainspring Legal. She specialized in identifying candidates for lateral associates, in-house counsel, temporary legal and compliance needs for law firms and corporations nationwide.
